our mission
Red Storm Basketball was first started in 2005 with just one team. Over the next 7 years, Red Storm Basketball grew to have 4 teams between ages 13-17's. In August 2012, Fidelity Bank Sportsplex opened its doors and became home to Red Storm Basketball. With the addition of the new practice facility, Red Storm received a Nike Sponsorship to play on the EYBL Circuit. Over the next 3 years Red Storm sent over 25 kids to play college basketball through our Nike Team Louisiana program. Red Storm Basketball returned in 2018 to field teams in 5th-8th grades, quickly growing the program to have teams in 4th-11th grades in 2023.

Our goal is to teach our athletes respect for themselves, their peers and their community by instilling a code of ethics built on honesty, responsibility and team work.
Our players, families and volunteers work together to cultivate a disciplined environment so every child can reach their full potential, develop their talents and increase their skills in the game of basketball and more importantly in life.

Red Storm Basketball is founded by Jonathan Pixley in 2005 with one 16's team.
expansion
Red Storm expands to 4 teams. Led by 4 future college players Cory Richard, Brian Merkel, Matt White and Cody Hoover.

Fidelity Bank Sportsplex opens it's doors as home to Red Storm Basketball.
