our mission
Established in 2005 with a single team, Red Storm Basketball experienced steady growth over its first seven years, expanding to four teams for players aged 13 to 17. In August 2012, the opening of Team Sportsplex in Baton Rouge provided a dedicated home for Red Storm Basketball. This milestone was accompanied by a prestigious Nike sponsorship, enabling the program to compete on the EYBL Circuit. Over the subsequent three years, more than 25 athletes advanced to collegiate basketball through the Nike Team Louisiana program. In 2018, Red Storm Basketball expanded its offerings to include teams for grades 5 through 8, rapidly growing to field teams spanning 4th through 11th grades.
our vision
Welcome to Red Storm Basketball, where the game is just the beginning.
Red Storm isn’t just about winning games — it’s about shaping players into leaders, both on and off the court.
We believe basketball is a powerful tool for personal growth. Through competitive tournaments, skills development, and community engagement, Red Storm Basketball empowers young athletes to reach their full potential. Our program is built on discipline, teamwork, accountability, and respect — qualities that extend far beyond the final buzzer.
Whether you're a player, coach, parent, or supporter, your role in this journey matters. Together, we are building more than strong athletes. We are building future leaders who are confident, resilient, and ready to make a positive impact in their communities.
Thank you for being part of the Red Storm family.
